A privy (outhouse), a garage, smokehouse, milk house, carriage house, horse barn, sheep barn, and four additional smaller barns are among the structures on the nine-acre farmstead. What Was Hidden In The Safe?
The contents of a locked safe might pique one’s interest, and this antique one from the past is no exception. It was made by the Cincinnati-based Hall’s Safe Company, which was established in the 1800s. This one has the name “A.J. McCarthy, D.D.S.” inscribed on it, and according to an online search, he was a professor at the University of Buffalo’s Department of Dentistry. The safe’s whereabouts on the farmstead are unknown.
